Beginners Groups Wellingborough

We will help and support you to begin running using a walk/run programme over 10 weeks.  This builds up at a steady and achievable pace so that by the end of the programme you will be able to run for 30 minutes continuously, approximately 5k.

The programme is based on running 3 times per week.  Therefore ideally you will be able to repeat each group session 2 further times during each week.  This can be done in your own time, or by coming along to another group during the week. 

Running groups:

  • £2 per person per session.

Groups start from the Castle Street entrance to Castle Fields. The next 10 week course of beginners groups starts from Monday 18th September 2017, and there will be 4 different beginners group times:

  • Monday 7:15pm-8pm
  • Tuesday 7:15pm-8pm 
  • Thursday 6:30pm-7:15pm
  • Friday 10am-10:45am
